Art of Ones and Zeros

FAQ

Were you influenced by anyone?

Definitely. One of my biggest influences is Daido Moriyama. His gritty, high-contrast street photography showed me that clarity isn’t everything—and that chaos, blur, and grain can be just as powerful as precision.

Moriyama had this raw way of seeing the world, where imperfections weren’t edited out—they were the whole point. That idea stuck with me. His work gave me permission to let go of clean lines and embrace the emotional noise of an image.

One of his most famous photos—Stray Dog, Misawa, 1971—sums it up. It’s messy. It’s instinctual. It’s iconic.

As Moriyama once said:

“The world is chaotic, and photography allows me to grasp a piece of that chaos and give it form.”
